Date attribut doesn't have a hierarchy automatically

Hi guys,

I have a table Sales with many fields of date. Every field has a date hiearchy once the data is imported except one. You can see it in the screenshoot following.

I created a date table which is = calendar(min(Sales[Date de paiement]), today()) and there is a relationship between this date table and the table Sales

Do you know why this one doesn't have a hierarchy?

Thank you

If you have created a Date Table (👍🏻), you should use the date table for all your measures, slicers, filters, visuals...

In fact, it is highly recomended you disable the "Auto Time" in the file's options and mark the Date Table as such in the ribbon.
To access further date aggregations, use the following code (as an example) for the creation of the Date Table:
Date table =

ADDCOLUMNS(

calendar(min(Sales[Date de paiement]), today()),

"MonthNum", MONTH([Date]),
"Month", FORMAT([Date], "MMM"),

"Year", YEAR([Date])
)
