Hi - I have a date table connected to one of my fact tables. However, I have dates in my other fact tables that I want to filter on as well. These fact tables are connected directly, do I need seperate date tables for each field I want to filter on?

@PowerBI123456 , if you need the same date filter on all the dates, then you can join them with date table, there will be inactive joins you can activate using userelationship
The example I want closed and open in Jan based on respective dates
But if you need Dec Open and Jan Closed then you need two have two date tables or need to use a filter on thee date from table
@PowerBI123456 , Ideally two fact tables should not join. You can join Date and other common dimesnion table with your fact tables.
You should able to join date with other fact tables. It should not create a loop.
Try to have stat schema at the end - https://www.sqlbi.com/articles/the-importance-of-star-schemas-in-power-bi/
@amitchandak What if your one fact table has multiple date fields in there that you want to filter on in different scenarios? Right now my date table is connected to one of those date fields (1 to many), how can I connect it to the other date fields in that fact table?
