I created a date table using calendar function, for the entire year of 2016. The table shows all individual dates. I added additional columns to show qtr and month. Jan-Mar dates all show as Q1, but after that the quarters use four months as opposed to three. So Q2 now is from April-Jul, instead of just June. The following formula is what I used in the column
QuarterFull = "Quarter " & ROUNDDOWN(MONTH([DateKey])/4,0)+1
Curious why Q1 is correct and other qtrs use four months.
