Hello,
I am trying to create a column in a date table for yesterday's date. I have a column in my date table that says today's date. The formula for that column is Today = TODAY(). I am tyring to calculate a column for yesterday using this formula: DATEADD(Dates[Today], -1, DAY). There is no error in this column. However, the column is blank.
I have also tried PREVIOUSDAY(Dates[Today]) and the same problem occurs.
Thank you in advance for your help.

Today should be used as suggested @parry2k .
If you are looking for the previous day, you can try like
Last Day Non Continous = CALCULATE(sum('order'[Qty]),filter(all(Table),Table[Date] =MAXX(FILTER(all(Table),Table[Date]<max(Table[Date])),Table[Date])))
Day behind Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),dateadd(Table[Date],-1,Day))
To get the best of the time intelligence function. Make sure you have a date calendar and it has been marked as the date in model view. Also, join it with the date column of your fact/s. Refer :
