Date Selector and comparing same period

Hi 

Is it possible to have a date filter with a manual selection of betwen dates and then have the previous same period to be compared with?

For example, If the user selects 10 days in the date filter and the dashboard shows the number of sales, I want to compare that to the previous 10 days. Or if the User selects a whole 30 days I want to compare the number of sales to the previous 30 days?
