Sorry for the crappy title, couldnt come up with a better one.
Scenerio:
- same table
-I have created a DATE1 and DATE2 column based off of the DATE column
-4 visuals - 2 matrix - 2 line charts
What I want to do is:
- DATE1 filter to control Matrix1 LineChart1
- DATE2 filter to control Matrix2 LineChart2
What I am trying to do is have the page split so I can compare 2 different date ranges on the same page from the same column.
I know I can make a duplicate table refrencing the original, but the data set is getting big and it will only bog it down and make the data set bigger. I was hoping I could group the visuals together to have a filter control specific visuals instead of the whole page.
Is there a way to do this?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Select your first slicer. Select the Format Menu and Select Edit Interactions.
Then you can turn off the Interactions on those visuals that should not be affected. (circle with the line thru it)
This should do it for you.
