Hi,
I want to compare the current date with the date stored in a column and f.e. color the background within a table accordingly.
Date already passed (in the past)-> red background
Date within 7 day range (future)-> background yellow
Date further away than 7 days -> background green
How can I do this with dates?
@Anonymous add following measure for color and then you can use it for conditional formatting, tweak it as per your need
KPI Color = VAR __numberofDays = DATEDIFF ( MAX ( 'Table'[Date] ), TODAY(), DAY ) RETURN SWITCH( TRUE(), __numberofDays > 0, "Red", --past __numberofDays > -7, "Green", --in future away than 7 days "Yellow" )

@parry2k How do I use it for conditional formatting? It doesn't allow me to use the measure as the "based on field" when doing background color conditional formatting
