Hi All,
I have a data table starting from Jul - Jun in a proper date format(dd-mm-yy). I needs to display in mmm'yy format. When I use the format() function then the date converts into text format and the output come as expected. But when I Plot any chart or table the output will be coming in asc or dsc order instead of old or new format due to text.
Can anyone help me on this to fix this.
Scope: I need the date in mmm'yy and plot the graph in oldest to newest.
Thanks in advance 🙂
Regards,
Arun

Did you sort your mmm'yy column by dd-mm-yy?

Hi @ChrisMendoza ,
If you wanna sort the date in the data tab of PowerBI desktop. Yes I did. But its not coming as expected.
I have two columns with Date(mm-dd-yyyy) and FormatedDate(mmm'yy) and the Date column is sorted and FormattedDate was placed in the X axis and its coming as asc to dsc or dsc to asc instead of old to new and vice versa
Are you able to share your file?
