Dataset Parameters and Report Builder

Hello everybody,

I have the following problem:

I'm trying to create a Pag.Report that is implemented in PBI Desktop. The report is a Meeting-Protocoll, with Participants, people that are excused and Reports about properties.

In my PBI Dataset are several manual tables with Names that have absolutely no relations to other tables and that's ok - so far - and there is my main table:Properties.

I've created a Pag.Rep and implemented different parameters as learned in the Microsoft Guide directly from my dataset.

My Report now itself has a part for the participants/excused persons of the Meeting - which you can choose from 3 parameter from the dataset. The other part is a table with various other parametes from the main Table: Properties.

So, in the report builder everthing is working perfect! Also, if you delete the "person" part, let's called it that way, my report can be implemented in PBI Desktop and I can add the mandatory slicers, connected to the defiend parameters.

When I implement the "big" report in PBI Desktop and set the parameters to the name-tables, that I need to use in slicers later, it tells me, "The data cannot be displayed because Power BI cannot determine the relationship between two or more fields"

I really hope I've explained it good enough, of course I can Add pictures if necessary.

Thank you so much for your support in advance,

Chris
