Database Access

Hi everyone!

I have been provided access to a server(Skype for Business backend) but while fetching a table named 'LcsCDR', no data is visible. What could be the reason behind it?

Hello everyone!

I have been provided access to a server but while accessing any database, no table data is visible as shown below. I have checked with server and network team. They have provided credentials and data is also available. So is this issue related to powerBI or something else? Any help would be appreciated.

It seems that your user is not enable to read the tables.

Please verify the permissions of your credential on Database (Sql Server) or User (Oracle)

Could be anythIng including there is no Data in the database or you have access to the database but not the data, or probably many other reasons. Try to connect to he dB using a traditional management tool first to debug the problem.

Thanks for the reply. As I checked through SQL management console, neither the data is empty nor there is an access issue. I have been given access to data. there has to be some other issue.

You could try clearing the credentials store and reauthenticate.  Maybe you have used the wrong setting.  

File\Options and Settings\data source settings

Clear permissions for your server(s)

When you reauthenticate (by accessing the server again), make sure you use the correct authentication for your environment.
