Data type for choropleth map

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to make a choropleth map of departments of france, and I've try with the names of departement, the postal codes, or both, but none of them show in the graph. But it works if i use just the data of country.

I saw in the tutorial, the data they use have a little symbol of maps, like this, is this a type i have to define? Or the departments data have to write in other type?
