Data refresh allowed to endusers

Hi all,

     Other than owner of service account,how end users get permission to refresh data in power bi?I know one solution is adding power autoamte feature..Other than that any other option is there?Plse give details...

Hey @NISHA_S ,

 

if you want a user to be able to trigger a refresh he needs at least edit permission.

But be aware then he can edit the dataset and worst case also delete it.

Hi @NISHA_S 

If you want your end user to refresh your data, first he must have access to your data and have edit permission for you data .

You must give him permission for Contributor role or above in your workspace.

In addition to this, there are also licensing requirements . Your end user must have a Pro license or your data must be in Premium capacity . In this way, he can refresh your data .

If you want your end user to refresh your data, first he must have access to your data and have edit permission for you data .
