I have 4 partners A,B,C and D and every partner has sub-partners a1,a2,b1,b2,c1,c2,d1,d2.
I have two slicer one for partner and another for sub partner. I have used one pie chart to show percentage of sale by each partner.
1.when I select A in partner slicer, sub partner slicer only gives me drop down of a1,a2 as it is their subpartner which is desired result. However, when I click in pie chart legend as Partner A, I dont see any changes happening in slicers. My desire result would be , If I select partner A through pie chart, subpartner slicer drop down should show me only their subpartner name like a1 and a2 but in my case it is showing a1,a2,b1,b2,c1,c2,d1,d2. Any idea how to overcome from this situation.

Hi @Anonymous
The interactions between visuals work differently with slicers. Since slicers are used to filter out information on the reports, the filter is only from the slicers to the visuals and not the other way around, this is because of the nature of slicers.
The only way that you can have a slicer being filter out of information is using another slicer.
So as a summary: Visuals are filtered by slicers and other charts Slicers are only filtered by other slicers
