Hi all,
I'm creating a dashboard to see if the technical master data fields in SAP are being used to check what is necessary.
This is my main excel-page in a tab
The totals i got out of this sheet: Used: the formula HLookup in Excel and copied the totals on the bottom.
The second picture has about 20.000 rows so is quiete big. The 'table + field' has the same name, but i can't make a connection/relationship between the tables. What is to zoom in a 'table + field' and look what kind of data is behind for example 'LFA1-ORTO1'.
i'd like to see the data 'behind' the 100%, if i click show data I want to see the data in the second picture.
I hope someone can help me with this
Billie
hi, @Anonymous
For your case, you need to do unpivot the column for the second table.
https://www.newtechdojo.com/unpivot-columns-in-power-bi/
Then create the relationship with first table by 'table + field'.
Now you could use drillthrough or Drill mode in a visualization to see the data 'behind' the 100%.
Best Regards,
Lin
when I unpivot I only get one column, do you know how to fix this
hi, @Anonymous
When you unpivot the second, just select the columns which you want to be used to create a relationship. Not all the columns.
If you still have problem, please share some sample data and your expected output.
Best Regards,
Lin
