Data for new month not updating

Hi, 

 

I built a monthly website report a few months ago and have been updating with the latest data each month. I've put April data into the excel but for some reason, when I select April in the visual filter, it's leaving blanks in the graphs

 

I've checked and april's data has been loaded into power bi. It also appears to be registering in some graphs but not others... 

 

any ideas?

It's work data so i don't think i can do that 

 

I'm having trouble with the Table, the pie chart and the gauge. It's so strange because the April data is in there, but when i select on the visual filter, my graphs go blank. Every other month works. 

 

Also, the line graph pictured i nthe screen grab is using exactly the same data as the guage graph but the guage won't update with april. 

 

Hopefully this is enough information

I ended up creating a new column for the dates and using this as the visual filter instead and it worked. 

 

Any idea why this happened?

Maybe you set up some visual level filters. But it's hard find out the cause without data.

1. How did you create the new column?

2. What was the old column used in the visual level filter?
