Data catalog integration with Power BI

Hello,

I have seen posts wchich says Power BI is intergrated with Azure data catalog from "Spring 2017". But I do not see an option for this in Power BI. Does Microsoft has any update on this integration.

You are correct that this was supposed to be released H1 2017 but their team has had no movement announced.

They have made very small improvements in the tool but nothing even remotely like what was announced.

i.e. look up datasets in ADC from Power BI, see metadata descriptions from ADC w/in Power BI, send your model to ADC from Desktop, etc.

Still waiting.....

I believe this works the other way around, when in data catalog you can open the data source in Power BI.
