Data Set Refresh Failed - Show Failure in Power BI report

Hi Experts

Is there a way to show a message in the POwer BI Desktop Report is a data set has failed to up date from server side i.e. a Azure and or SQL View  Table has failed to update.

Hence the data in the report is out of date....

Hi @Anonymous ,

If you are the owner of the dataset, you can leave the checkbox Send refresh failure notification emails to me enabled in your refresh configuration and verify that spam filters don’t block the messages from Microsoft Power BI. Then you will get the email notification when the report refresh failure. You can also add the others in the list just as below screenshot, then it will send refresh failure notifications to them.
