Data Multipliers

I am having to add multipliers to certain date within a table.

Example:

Channel                      Count

Digital                        1

Phone                        1

NonMarketing           1

Radio                         1

Where Channel = Broadcast , multiply count by .369

Where Channel = Radio, multiply count by 4

Then I have to total all counts, including multipliers. Any suggestions?

1 ACCEPTED SOLUTION

Create a table that contains all the multiplier options

create a lookup Table that has all the unique chanels

join both the count table and the multiplier table to the channel lookup table

put the column from the channel table into rows in your visual

create the following measures.

Total count = sum(CountTable[count])

Multiplier value = max(MultiplierTable[multiplier])

result = sumx(channelTable,[total count] * [multiplier value])
