Hi,
I'm fairly new to PowerBI, so I'm pretty sure this must be an easy one but I can't find any answers after a bit of googling!
So my issue is that I want to create a filter that allows a dashboard / report user to decide what measures they want to see.
Context for this is that I have a line graph which is currently plotting FY17, FY18 and FY18 Budget figures.
I want the intial version of the report to return the FY17 vas F18 figures to see how we perform relative to last year. However I want the users to have th ability to bring in the budget lines should they choose.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks
Nick

I have tested it on my local environment using my sample data.
Create a table by enter data.
Add the column to a slicer, and create a measure in original table.
Measure = VAR SelectedItem = IF ( ISFILTERED ( Slicer[Slicer] ), CONCATENATEX ( VALUES ( Slicer[Slicer] ), Slicer[Slicer], "" ), "FY17FY18" ) VAR Check = IF ( ISERROR ( SEARCH ( MAX ( Table1[Attribute] ), SelectedItem ) ), 0, 1 ) RETURN Check
Use this measure in your line chart filter.
If this is not what you want, please elaborate your issue so that we can make further analysis.
