Dashboard Report Page Background Image Not Showing

When I design my dashboard in Power BI Desktop and set the Page Background as a JPG file, the background works fine.

However, when I publish the dashboard to the online Power BI Service App, the Page Background Image stops showing.

I've not had this issue before, and this issue only started happening in this week.

Has anyone else had this problem and been able to resolve it please?

@v-lili6-msft thank you for your reply, yes, I checked and the background image that I selected is still available, however, image just doesn't show when published.

I tried changing from .jpg to different image formats too, and even just inserting the image as just a image (not as a background image) and that didn't work either... so I'm not sure what could be causing it.

My colleague also tried publishing from his workbook to Power BI Service also, and it also stopped working for him too.

This has also just happened to me yesterday too. I have a report which has 7 pages. The 4 pages which previously had page backgrounds are showing fine. I added page backgrounds to 3 worksheets yesterday that didn't have page backgrounds and they appear correctly in the Report once I publish it from the PBIX file, however, they don't appear via the App when I publish the App

Hi @EmilyMorrison

After many weeks of playing around with using Image Backgrounds/ Wallpapers/ Inserting Images/ using different .png/.jpg formats etc.

I found that when I published to my Test Environment App, the background image didn't work.  However, when I published to my two other Live Apps, the background images worked fine all all the report pages for some reason?  There isn't a difference between any of the apps, but some reason, publishing to a different app helped resolve the issue.

I'm having the same issue with imported images that I'm using as Bookmark buttons. They show and work fine in both Desktop and Workspace, but not in the published App. I'd be curious to know if anyone has a solution for your case as it would probably be the same solution for me.
