Hello Community,
i got a little understanding issue with PowerBi Daily Calenders, monthly calenders and the underlying data.
1) I have made a daily Calender with the following for this post releveant columns:
2) I have monthly data for sales
Due to the requirements of PowerBI i can not link the Calender table to the Sales table (n:n relationship)
3) I therefore created a monthly date table only consisting of monthly dates.
--> Can be connected to the Sales table (1:n relationship)
Question:
Is there a possibility to link monthly data to a daily calender ???
If so i could load in daily sales data as well and combine reportings.
Thank you very much in advance

You should be able to connnect your table with unique values to both tables. As long as your cross-filtering directions are set correctly in your relationships then the two tables are connected and you effectively have a many-to-many relationship.
