DISTINCTCOUNTNOBLANK and filter on calculation

Hi All

I am trying to make a DISTINCT FILTER on a calculation

One place I am using the below, and this works as expected:
Total Parent = DISTINCTCOUNTNOBLANK(DM_Fact_Incident[Parent Incident])

However, I also have the following meassure which I want to also count distinct on the above coumn DM_Fact_Incident[Parent Incident]. But I have not been able to make it distinc, just total including duplicates of DM_Fact_Incident[Parent Incident as below

Parent E-Incidents =
CALCULATE([Total Events DM],
DM_Fact_Incident[Parent Incident] <> BLANK(),
DM_Fact_Incident_calc[pIncidentType] ="Incident" || DM_Fact_Incident_calc[pIncidentType] ="Security Incident" || DM_Fact_Incident_calc[pIncidentType] ="Request For Standard Change",
DM_Fact_Incident[Parent Emergency] = True
)

Anyone can help me remove duplicates from the DM_Fact_Incident[Parent Incident? Whavever I tried with DISTINCTCOUNTNOBLANK was not succsessfull

@VegarOyfoss , What is formula for [Total Events DM]

Can you share sample data and sample output in table format?

@amitchandak  Actually, I think I am wrong with putting that calucation there. Its basically total amount of rows in the table

hi  @VegarOyfoss

Just adjust the formula with FILTER Function as below:

Parent E-Incidents =
CALCULATE (
    [Total Events DM],
    FILTER (
        DM_Fact_Incident,
        DM_Fact_Incident[Parent Incident] <> BLANK ()
            && ( DM_Fact_Incident_calc[pIncidentType] = "Incident"
            || DM_Fact_Incident_calc[pIncidentType] = "Security Incident"
            || DM_Fact_Incident_calc[pIncidentType] = "Request For Standard Change" )
            && DM_Fact_Incident[Parent Emergency] = TRUE
    )
)

Here is an exampl eof how the table could look:

Parent IncidentpIncidentType
123Incident
123Incident
nullIncident
145Request For Information
156Incident
168Security Incident

So I want to distinct count all rows which has "Incident", "Request For Standard Change' or "Security Incident" in the pIncidentType column, but NOT when the Parent Incident Row is null

And the output should be 3 rows the 2 rows of 123 should count as 1, And then the last two rows should also count

Hope that makes it easier

@VegarOyfoss - Not really enough information to go on, please first check if your issue is a common issue listed here: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/Before-You-Post-Read-This/ba-p/1116882

Also, please see this post regarding How to Get Your Question Answered Quickly: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/How-to-Get-Your-Question-Answered-Quickly/ba-p/38490

The most important parts are:
1. Sample data as text, use the table tool in the editing bar
2. Expected output from sample data
3. Explanation in words of how to get from 1. to 2.
