DAX not working in Power BI connecting to Direct Query Tabular Model

Hi All,
I have Direct Query Tabular Model created, which I am connecting in Power Bi desktop through Connect Live.

When I does that I could pull objects in Table Visual , but if I pull measures created in Tabular Model it does not show data rather it changes whole table visual in blank.

But if I do not use any summarized data then it works fine, I have tried creating measures on PBI report level but that too pops up same issue.

If I convert the Tabular Model to in memory then everything works fine.

Do anyone know what could be the issue here with DAX created in DQ Tabular Model, the DAX i have created are simple like Sum(Qty), Count(Cust ID).

Appreciate help here.

Please find snapshots I could capture below:

Hi @srlabhe123 ,

Are you trying to connect to ssas that have a direct query data source? Based on my test, it works well with dax

sum. Would you please try to update the desktop to the latest version and try again?

@srlabhe123 whatever you are using to visualize the data is from the same table like measure and column in the table visual? Are there  more tables and relations?
