DAX Variable YTD

Hi All,

I have a report that has 'company' as a role with RLS. Hence users login and can see the data relevant to their company. I also have a YTD measure. However the year end dates are variable for across the companies. Most run Jan - Dec or Apr to Mar.

Hence, what I need is a DAX measure which calculates the YTD value with a variable year end based on the company.

I have a table in my DB which has company and Year start and end dates. Has anyone had a similar requirement or can point me in the right direction?

Many Thanks,

Hi @MWilson929,

As per my knowledge, the end date of YTD cannot will not change automatically based on the company which the login uses belongs to.

Based on my research, here is an article that descirbes Create Dynamic Periods for Fiscal or Calendar Dates in Power BI
