DAX Question - Calculated Column - 12 months prior per row

Hello!
I need to create a CALCULATED COLUMN that will bring back the total sales for the last 12 months,  per row, like this:

This is a simplified example, but It does need to be done for every row in a table as a calculated column 

Does anyone have any suggestions of where to start? Thank You!!

@djalexr , With a date table try formula like

Rolling 12 = CALCULATE(sum(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESINPERIOD('Date'[Date],ENDOFMONTH(Sales[Sales Date]),-12,MONTH))
Rolling 12 = CALCULATE(sum(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESINPERIOD('Date'[Date ],MAX(Sales[Sales Date]),-12,MONTH))
Rolling 12 = CALCULATE(sum(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESINPERIOD('Date'[Date ],MAX('Date'[Date ]),-12,MONTH))
