4. What is yearly employee retention rate?
Definitions: Active Employee : Any employee who was hired on or before the analysis period and have not exited during the analysis period. For ex., an employee hired on Apr 15th 2019 and exited on Sep 5th 2019 is an active employee in 2019 Q2 but an inactive employee in 2019 Q3.
Employee Exit rate: Number of employees exited / Number of employees hired
Yearly Retention Rate: Number of active employees at end of the year (Dec 31st) from those who were active at the start of the year (Jan 1st) / Number of active employees at the start of the year (Jan 1st)
