Hi all,
How do I create a column that states IF any of 'Reference1', 'Reference2' and 'Reference3' contain text then 'Yes' and if not then 'No'?
Thanks,
Henry
Solved! Go to Solution.
If you want to create a new column in a table, try:
Ref contain Text? =
VAR calc1 = CALCULATE(MAX(Data[Ref 1]); ALLEXCEPT(Data; Data[Index]))
VAR calc2 = CALCULATE(MAX(Data[Ref 2]); ALLEXCEPT(Data; Data[Index]))
Var calc3 = CALCULATE(MAX(Data[Ref 3]); ALLEXCEPT(Data; Data[Index]))
Return
IF(ISTEXT(calc1) || ISTEXT(calc2) || ISTEXT(calc3); "Yes"; "No")
Which will get you this output:
Proud to be a Super User!

Try Like
if(SEARCH("abc", table[reference1],1,0) >0 && SEARCH("abc", table[reference2],1,0) >0
&& && SEARCH("abc", table[reference3],1,0) >0,"Yes","No")
