Hi Guys,
I need your help with something that goes beyond my comprehension.
I have this DAX measure:
Est. Salary =
VAR MonthEnd = CALCULATE(SUM(PriorMth[EofMonth]),RELATEDTABLE(PriorMth))
VAR TerminationMonth = MAX('Sal Calc'[EOM_EndDate])
VAR EstimatedSal = SUM('Sal Calc'[Ann.salary])/260*[NetWork]*0.5
Return IF(MonthEnd<=TerminationMonth,EstimatedSal,0)
It returns values in the column but for some reason the grand total shows $0.
I don't understand why ?
Could you please help ?

Hi @Anonymous,
In fact, this is a common dax calculation issue on total level, normally it will appears when you use dax formula to calculate or compare with current row contents.
You can take a look at following link to know how to deal with these scenario:

Hi,
Try this measure
=IF(HASONEVALUE(Data[Period]),[Est. Salary],SUMX(SUMMARIZE(VALUES(Data[Period]),[Period],"ABCD",[Est. Salary]),[ABCD]))
Change the underlined portion.
Hi @Anonymous
Could you share the pbix?
I'd rather not.
The numbers in the screenshot are bogus but there is confidential info in the underlying data.
