Hi there,
I have a results table and a date table that are linked in the model. The date table has all possible dates. The results table follows this structure:
location | date | results |
1 | 11/10/22 | 2 |
1 | 11/10/22 | 1 |
1 | 13/10/22 | 3 |
1 | 13/10/22 | 4 |
2 | 11/10/22 | 1 |
2 | 11/10/22 | 3 |
2 | 13/10/22 | 2 |
2 | 13/10/22 | 4 |
I would like to count the number of dates that have no recordings. I have location and date slicers that I would like to use to filter the count. So here we would have a count of 1 for each location as there is no data recorded on 12/10/22.
Can anyone help me with this?

Hi Ashish,
That has worked for me. Thank you so much!
You are welcome.
Hi Ashish,
I have another question relating to this data. I would like to show dates where there is missing data in my visualisations using conditional formatting. I am unable to do this in a line chart as there is no option too. I have also tried highlighting dates with no data in a matrix visual, but the matrix does not show those dates at all, even after selecting "show items with no data". Is there a way around this?
Thanks
