I am attempting to create a boolean calculated column "Type" below:
Date | Val1 | Val2 | Abs Value Diff | Type |
1/1/2018 | 5 | 4 | 1 | Mismatch |
1/2/2018 | 5 | 5 | 0 | Match |
1/3/2018 | 5 | 6 | 1 | Mismatch |
My current calculation is below, and it is outputing the following results: What am I doing wrong to get double the amount of rows expected in this case?
Type = IF(sum(ABS Value Diff) > 0,"MisMatch","Match")
auditDate | ABS Value Diff | Type |
1/1/2018 | 0 | Match |
1/1/2018 | 1 | MisMatch |
1/2/2018 | 0 | Match |
1/2/2018 | 0 | MisMatch |
1/3/2018 | 0 | Match |
1/3/2018 | 1 | MisMatch |
Hi @Anonymous,
It seems the [auditDate] and [Type] are in two different data tables. Do they have a proper relationship? Can you share a sample?
Best Regards,
Dale
