DATE Format UK won't work

Hi All,

I have a date field that refuses to display in UK format DD-MM-YYYY in a date slicer. It appears in UK format in every other field and I have selected UK format in modelling and using locale.

 

T_SQL: FORMAT(s.CreatedOn,'dd/MM/yyyy') 'testdate'

correct region selected in power bi and PCcorrect region selected in power bi and PC

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Any help would be appreicated as Im not sure how to fix, i have tried righting it as a DAX as well.

Have you checked the regional settings under the Global heading in the Power BI options? The settings you have in your screenshot are the regional import settings for the current file only.
