Custom visuals with no drill down to another report

Ive found something that is causing problems. It would see that if you use a cusom visual you cant then set it to drill through to another report. I found a really nice bullet chart that seemed appropriate but that cant then be used to drill down unlike the basic bar chart that can.

Is this how it is with custom visuals? Its a massive shame. I dont really want to use the basic bar chart for this but I need to drill down to another report

With custom visuals, mileage will vary.

For me, this really reduces the useability. The standard visuals look really plain. I would say this is something that needs fixing pronto to make this a useable product.

@DebbieE,

Drill down feature is supported in bullet chart. What you describe is drill through feature, this feature is on backlog. Please take a look at the following similar thread.
