Custom field is giving circular dependency error.

Hi,

I need help with doing aggregations in my power bi report. In the screenshot below, I am trying to do the multiplication of a custom field I have created agaisnt a field I have in my report. However i keep getting this circular dependency issue.

Can someone please suggest the best way to get around this? It essentially happens for every custom field I try to create.

Normally, when building complex DAX code or creating calculated tables, we may encounter the problem of circular dependency errors .
