Hello - we are experimenting with a custom visual for potential use with a large number of clients. However, I am a bit concerned in that when I read the "Overview" section in the Office Store that it reads that "this is an open source visual". Does Microsoft do any kind of vetting of the software, simialr to an iPhone app, to be sure the custom visual is developed correctly and does not have a trojan horse within the visual?
If possible I would like to speak to anyone in Microsoft about custom visuals if someone can provide a contact.
Thanks,
Jason

Thanks. Is there some sort of vetting process (simialr to submitting an app to the Apple app store) in which Microsoft confirms that the custom visual used in the Microsoft Store is not harmful?
Hi @jasprice,
Yes, custom visuals have passed rigorous testing and are registered for server-side usage.
