Custom Visual Timeline

I have downloaded the custom visual called timeline, just becuase its the only the visual i can find where you are able to set a fiscal year which is just what i needed.

Is there a way of filtering how far back this timeline goes? its huge, starting at 2007 all the way upto 2017, is there a way of making the visual only show me from 2014 onwards?

Tried dragging the date field into the visual level filter of the timeline, but it wont accept it?

@P0W3RB1 You can create conditional column in power bi desktop via query editor where date is equal or greater than 2014 and use that for the visual.
