I am building simple custom built KPI as follows:
The visual contains some cards and a column chart. The custom KPI simply compares Month to Date (MTD) measure versus Same Period Last Month (SPLM). The MTD in the card above (61 030.47) and the values in the column chart is calculated as follows:
The chart has 'week of the month' in the x-Axis. The chart shows the progressive (cumulative) values of the measure until the end of the month. Instead of showing the progressive (cumulative) values of the measure as the month goes, How can i show the weekly values instead without being cumulative on the bar chart?

Chris

I had to use the following instead of [Total Amount Dispense]

@Chitemerere , use time intelligence with date table
MTD Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESMTD('Date'[Date]))
You can have week column in date table and use them
Refer for week :https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/Week-Is-Not-So-Weak-WTD-Last-WTD-and-This-Week-vs-La...
To get the best of the time intelligence function. Make sure you have a date calendar and it has been marked as the date in model view. Also, join it with the date column of your fact/s. Refer :

Appreciate your Kudos.
Does using the [Total Dispensed Amount] measure by itself get your result? If not, please clarify your goal.
If this works for you, please mark it as solution. Kudos are appreciated too. Please let me know if not.

Pat

Thank you very much for your prompt response, most appreciated.
I am not applying any extra filters outside what is contained in the measure itself as this is a dashboard which in my mind should not have any filters, it just must present the situation as is. If i use [Total Dispensed Amount], then the value in the chart will be inflated as it will give the total value. What i want to accomplish is to show values of sales realized during each week of the month until month end. I hope this is clear.
Best regards,
Chris
