Cumulative Total doesn't work with filters

Hi Everyone,

I have a measure to returan the cumulative total of total sales in the order of sales ranking.

Cumulative Total = SUMX(TOPN([Rank by Total Sales], ALL('Sales Analysis All'[Item ID]), [Total Sales], DESC), [Total Sales])

This measure works fine without any filters

but as soon as I apply any filter from the same table, it breaks the cumulative total and return only the total value

I reckon it might because the ALL function, how can I solve this? Thanks

@Penn try changing your measure as below

Cumulative Total =
SUMX(
TOPN(
[Rank by Total Sales],
ALLSELECTED('Sales Analysis All'),
[Total Sales], DESC
),
[Total Sales]
)

Hi Parry2k,

I found a way to work around but your solution seems to be an answer as well. Will look into that. Thanks
