Cumulative Running Total on PowerBI - (Million dollar question)

Hi,

I have worked for last two days to figure out the below scenario.. but i couldn't able to arrive the result. Also i have refered in google can't able to figure out the solution.

I have tried Rankx and Earlier function (powerbi not supporting for me ) but nothing is helped for me. Kindly any of the super hero, please help on this.

Hi Jihwan,

Please see the below example, i'm using the stacked bar chart. So i need to aggregate the department count in year wise. For year 1998, it is showing only the department C count, but i need to aggregate the all the 3 departments (A, B and C). Please help me on this situation.

Thanks for your quick reply. The count column is not available in the table... i'm having only Date (just converting to Year) and department column. i want count column and based on the count we need ot calculate  running total on the fly.
