Cross filtering multiple tables via one master date slicer returns only blank values

Hi all,

I have a problem, where I am not able to figure out a workaround. I have a report in which, up to now, the total customer number was not time sensitive, so it stayed always the same. I want to see the customer growth over time though, that's why I added a "CreatedDate" in the CustomerProfiles table (which was existing in the database, just hasn't been used in the table yet). I do have other tables, which provide numbers of transactions and volume in the same multi-row card (together with the total customer count) on the same KPI overview page of the report. In order to have one date, which can filter both, i.e. all the customer and all the transaction data, I created a new Date table and linked it via a one-to-many relationship (the other modes can't even be selected) to the transaction table and to the customer profiles table. The problem is: Whenever I choose a different starting date in the date slicer on the KPI overview page all fields go blank. No matter what format I use for the date table and the others - I checked that they all have the same date format - nothing seems to work. I tried as well to create a measure, which calculates the count of customer IDs and uses a user relationship between the customer table and transactions table, but here I have the same problem. As soon as I select a different starting date in the date slicer, the "customers" field goes blank. Any idea how this could be fixed?

PS: Unfortunately I cannot add any screenshots due to confidentiality.

Thanks for any help!

Hi @AkiDTU ,

Can you please share a pbix or some dummy data that keep raw data structure with expected results? It should help us clarify your scenario and test to coding formula.
