Cross Report Drill Through Not Working for End Users

Hello,

I have set up a cross report drill through that works for me, but the drill through is not visible for anyone else even after I've given proper report access on both reports.

One of my users has the exact permissions I have, Admin, on the workspace as well as both reports, and he is unable to right click and see the drill through option either.

Again, as far as I can tell it's set up correctly, I can do it myself and demonstrate it perfectly, it's just other users can't seem to see the drill through option.

I am also facing the exact same issue. Did you get the solution apart from creating an app as a workaround? @Anonymous @v-alq-msft

Hi, @Anonymous

Based on my tests, I add an external user and the user can use cross-report drillthrough successfully. I wonder if you have set the corresponding following report setting as on in both target report and original report in Power BI Service.

For more details, you may refer the document . If it still doesn't work, I'd like to suggest you open a support ticket here .

Best Regards

Allan

I put in a ticket with the Microsoft Team.

I was able to get it to work as an App, so if anyone expereinces a similar issue you can try creating an App and it should work. Also check to see if your workspace has been upgraded, I'm pretty sure mine is, but I'm having trouble finding if it is or not (it should be).

The app creation process was relatively easy and worked for end-users?  We don't utilize apps but may have to look at it to get cross-report drill through working.
