Cross-Filtering Issue

I have two tables: Products and Categories.

There is Many to one relationship between Products and Category.  Cross filter direction is set to Single.

I put two Table visuals on a page. The idea is that one table will show categories. When user clicks on a category, it shows products in the second table.

By default, when I click on a row in Category table, it filters products. It is expected.

The problem is that when after selecting a category I select a product, it resets selected row in Categories table, which leads to updating Products table that shows products from all categories afterwards. Updating Products table to set interaction to None for Categories table didn't help.

Is there a way to disable any affect on cross-filtering for Products table? I just want a user to be able to click on a product without any side effects.

@barabum use can use ctrl + click for filter not to reset on category table but better solution will be to use slicer visual for category until there is a reason that you have to use table visual
