Creating new column hangs Power BI

Hi,

[situation overview] I'm using lastest Power BI version on a file smaller than 10 MB.

When I try to create a new column on a table (142000 rows) Power BI shows the pop up white window saying "Working on it" and stops: no feedback message nor errors within hours.

Thanks in advance

Hi @Anonymous ,

How about create measuare instead of the calculated column? As there are 142000 rows in one of your table. If your formula is complex it will take a lot of time to calculate. Please refer to the third-party blog to improve the performance of your data.
