Creating average of two columns and tips to learn M language

Hi all,

For this project I want to monitor the temperature in a serverroom using visualisations in PBI. Tips, tricks for this project are more then welcome.

Now to the task at hand.

I want to create an average between the two selected columns each row in a new column in the query editor.

I'm also looking for ways to learn M language and DAX. What resources do you recommend?

this question mainly is about the average function. I don't mind being send a private msg.

Hi @Anonymous

Since you want to have the value for each row, believe the best options is to keep it simple:

([min]+[max])/2
