Hi All,
I'm still somewhat of a novice, but I am struggling with a measure which doesn't change when filtering. the average line needs to relate to months and years so I can create a visual which show performance against the regional average. I managed to create this in Excel quite quickly but have hit a dead end in Bi.
The dataset I have is 2014>present
Units / Date / Month / Year
Everything I have tried so far has come out of a straight line and changes to the average of my selection.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Below is an image of what I expect the final outcome to be.
Hey,
can you please provide a simple example with some data, I'm not sure what you mean by regional.
Regards,
Tom
Hi Tom
Thanks for getting back to me here is the Link to Data
This includes the regions across EMEA so essentially the average line needs to keep referencing the entire region whilst being able to select a region (orange line on the original post) to see how its performing versus the regional average.
I hope that makes sense.
