Creating an FAQ frontpage

Hi there

I'd like to create a front sheet on a report which has FAQs which can be selected from a dropdown; the aim is to give users instructions and tips on how the report works.

The dropdown presents a seies of questions, the user clicks one of these and the answer appears on the page (probably text, but aimages and links if one can).

Creating the filter would be easy enough, but can one add large amounts to text, images and/or links within tables?

Hope this makes sense..!

@daytripper,

I've never done it with images (though I'm sure it's possible), but text and URLs are easy. You would just have a table with the question column (for your slicer), the help text, and a web or image URL.

For a cleaner solution than using a table, you might want to look into bookmarks. This would also allow you to redirect users to other pages in the report, if that's something you'd like.
