Creating a simple unicolor dotted timline

Either i'm too stupid or this is not solvable with my absolut basic Power-Bi Knowledge.

I would like to display releasedates on a simple x-axis with dots via the line chart.

This is my excelsheet

Release.png

What do i want:

7.0.7 / 7.0.8/ 7.0.9 should get their own time line. This should be evenly spread by

date on the x-axis !!! even if there are several events on one day !!!

I come closer to the look i want if just sort by the event names, somtehing like this:

2019_04_09_13_22_57_Entwurf_1_Power_BI_Desktop.png

But this is not sorted by the actual dates, just by the names.

It doesnt have to be sorted into time frames like quarters, months or such but it has to be in the correct

chronological order.

What am i doing wrong? Should be simple, shouldnt it?

Greetings, Tom

hi, @Torell

You could use Sort by column in Power BI Desktop.

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/desktop-sort-by-column

First add an index column as below:
