Creating a function that aply in power query

Hello everyone 

 

I would like to create a function which is applied in Power Query before the dataset is loaded in Power BI 

Something like : " IF column1 = '' then delete  row" or really just any function that will apply automaticly

Hello,

 

you can just filter the rows in Power Query, then they aren't loaded to BI.

 

But you also can as @Anonymous mentioned just filter the rows in BI.

 

CALCULATE(expression;FILTER(Table;Table[column1]<>"Value") which has similar effect.

If you just want to delete rows that contain certain items then just filter the column

 

Power Query steps apply every time the data is loaded into the model.
