Hi,
I have 2 tables with Google Analytics data (via excel, not live data) in them (one with session level data, one with events level data). There is an existing relationship between these tables through another table which matches the type of traffic (i.e social, organic search) that is driving a slicer on my dashbaord. I would like to add another slicer for date in addition to this and to them run at the same time if wanted to, but am struggling with the right way to do this.
I have created a calendar table but can only have one or the other working, not both at the same time.
Does anyone have any suggestions on the best way to do this?
Thanks!
Hi @STCTom,
After created calendar table, you need to create relationship on this new created table.
Date = CALENDAR(DATE(2000,1,1),DATE(2025,12,31))
If this is not what you want, please elaborate "but can only have one or the other working, not both at the same time", so that we can make further analysis.
Regards,
Charlie Liao
Hi @v-caliao-msft,
Thanks for that, there is a relationship established between the tables already.
I have two slicers running on which I want to shape the data coming from the Digi_Session data and Digi_Event data and I would like to be able to use both at the same time, i.e filtering by a particular channel and a particular date.
It wont let me have all the of the above relationships active at the same time as I get an error message that I can have "only have one filtering path between tables in a data model"
I hope that is clearer?
Thanks!
