Hi. I am wondering how to build a link table. I see the value of it but I'm understanding how I'd go about actually constructing one. For example, if I have 3 fact tables how would I go about creating this
Fact_Employ
Emp ID
Emp Name
Emp Hire Date
Fact_Sales
Sales ID
Sales Amount
Sales Date
Fact_Contract
Contract ID
Units
Date
So, I think I understand that the link table needs the primary keys. However, I don't know what to put for each row. Do I do Sales ID blank blank blank then under it I do Contract ID blank blank blank? Is there any guides for building a link table or an example table I can look at.
Sorry if this doesn't make sense, I'm having trouble articulating my question.
