Hi there,
I am trying to do some reporting using KPIs using YTD data. I want to report whether we are on track to grow our ridership by 5% during that fiscal year. I want to update the KPI as often as once a month.
Here is a table with measures I have been using and the perc difference column is the measure I would like to show up in my KPI:
However, this does not seem to be working out for me.
I have searched the forums far and low and would appreciate some advice.

I appreciate your reply. Seeing your answer made me realize the fundamentals of my report were off and through other research, I discovered I needed to add a calendar table. This fixed the issue.
